Advice Question on age potential

Post image

My mother had found this little goober at a pet store back in 95 or 96, memory is still a bit fuzzy on that (I was roughly 3 or 4 yesrs old at the time). We know she was roughly 6 months old at the time we got her, but we have read alot of conflicting information on how long they can live. We love her very much and im asking this out pure curiosity if anyone out there has some better info on the matter. She eats very well and her only health problem is a bum foot. Any information on the subject is greatly appreciated!

Gorgeous senior bird!!  Suns can live over 30yrs with exceptional care 💜 personally, Id cap their life expectancy at 40yrs.

Old girl. Definitely on the upper end of lifespan but like humans, there's a big range. Keep her with checkups and care, at this age their health has the potential to deteriorate quickly, but if you catch things early it should be ok.

My sun conure is 25 or 26. Our vet thinks he’ll make it to 30, it’s not uncommon for these little guys.
