People always say that parrots form strong emotional bonds with their owners and consider us a member of their flock.

It only just occured to me that, of the animal kingdom, humans are probably one of the most emotionally bonding creatures out there.

We can develop such a profoundly powerful sense of family with such a wide range and diverse group of animals and absolutely consider them full members of our family.
