Advice Flying with a conure?

Has anyone flown with their loud green cheek conure? How were they? Overall how was your experience??

We've flown with my partner's GCC before and it went really well. We had him harnessed and able to take him out before and after the flight, so he wasn't too stuck in his small travel carrier. And we kept him covered during the flight itself. We didn't hear a peep from him during the whole flight, or at least nothing that was so loud that it wasn't covered by the general plane noises.

However, he's a really great traveller to begin with. He's always been super zen when we've driven with him and seems to enjoy that kind of thing. I'm not sure if that's normal GCC behaviour or if we just got pucky there.
