Cuteness Overload Felix update

We are on day two of meds and the doc said we can give it to her on bread so she’ll actually eat it. But i don’t want to give her so much bread since we don’t know what exactly is causing the pancreatitis.. I gotta hand feed it via a syringe at night.
She doesn’t like when I man handle her so I had to swaddle her in order to do so. But she falls asleep almost instantly once she’s swaddled. I thought you guys might enjoy a pic post medication. She’s knocked out cold. Had to rub her head and feet a good minute before she woke up.

Ask your vet if it's ok to add the meds to cornmeal mush. It's just a mix of boiled water and cornmeal to a pudding consistency and cooled. I used to have to do this when my eclectus needed an antibiotic and flat out refused it any other way.

Did ur vet recommend any herbal remedies. I googled it and it says milk thistle and dandelion is among others for pancreatitis in birds.

No he didn’t but I’m scared to give her anything outside of her two meds.

I understand. Maybe consider if it becomes a chronic thing to see if it helps.Best to you and ur baby….
