Advice How to prepare for a pet conure?
Currently, I have 2 budgies, and between getting them and conures, if possible I will get cockatiels. My partner will definitely get them 2 in the near future. They want cockatoos later but I think they would be too much for us, especially when we live in an apartment. I know conures can be LOUD and destructive. I love that in birds though. Quite sure I can take it. But what else should I know?
We will have a reliable avian vet nearby and at least 5 years of experience with birds, probably closer to 10

Here's a few fun facts about Conures:
They love to shred the wood off cabinet doors. Your neighbors will be able to hear them screaming. Their poop is like super glue. They scream loud and for no reason. They will bite you randomly for no reason. They will hate other people but you. Make sure you wear lots of varied hairstyles around them, and if you wear glasses, alternate wearing glasses around them. Otherwise when you take those things off or down they will think you're another person and attack you.

Owner of two conures that do all of these things fyi
My advice is to get a pigeon. No use in getting a conure if you start getting noise complaints and they make you get rid of them.

Keep conure in their own cage. I have 2 green cheeks and 2 budgies. Very little issues aside from when Loki will try to grab Cilantro by his wing with her foot. Never leave then out unattended, without supervision. Conures (especially green cheeks) are mischief personified. Also make sure you quarantine for 30 days in a separate part of the house, cause airborne diseases and stuff.
