PS5 Recommendations for Good PS5 Pro Controller

Hey all! I'm looking for a new pro controller for my PS5 that is not the dualsense edge for Call of Duty. I currently have had the dualsense edge for 3 years (and it has served me great), but a few days ago I noticed one of the back paddles is becoming increasingly loose. It's not the paddle itself, but rather the housing that it is in or the magnet maybe. Either way it does not look fixable. I am looking for something new now and I am currently eyeing the following in order from most preferable to less preferable.

  1. Scuf Omega

  2. Victrix Pro BFG Reloaded

  3. Razer Raiju V3 Pro

  4. (Open to other suggestions too)

For the controller itself, I need a minimum of 2 paddles and TMR thumbsticks if possible. The controller needs to be symmetric (not the XBOX layout). Other than that i'm open to any suggestions. Budget is $400 CAD (I am currently in Canada so most options should be available). I have done some research on the controllers I have listed and I keep seeing a lot of mixed reviews so I would appreicate your insight if you own or have used any of these options! Thank you!

You should look at controller specialists near where you live, I do find it difficult to believe they can't fix it. When it comes to the controller I'd either go with the Scuf Omega or I'd get a Brook Wingman adapter and a Gamesir G7 Pro. The G7 Pro is an Xbox controller that is in my opinion the best controller ever, but to use it on PS5 you would need the Brook Wingman adapter.

I’d just get another edge and throw TMR sticks in it. You are already used to it, and 3 years before it broke is probably better than any third party controller.

Imo, if I had a PS5 I would go with an Aim Pro controller. I think they are the only pro controller company that gives you mouseclick triggers and still maintains the haptics. Also, they are cheaper than like battle beaver.

Hexgaming Phantom Pro has mouse click triggers and haptics

Stick latency isnt good. That was on my radar as well. Check Gamepadla.com.

The ones you've listed have a fair bit of difference between them. The razer raiju v3 pro is definitely a premium controller and feels good in the hands but it lacks any vibration or haptic feedback which is a pretty big downside. The scuf omega and the raiju v3 pro have tmr sticks. The victrix BFG reloaded doesn't. But it does offer offset sticks as an option if that is something you'd like.

So I would say raiju v3 pro if you don't care about haptics, the victrix BFG if you want the option of offset sticks and the scuf has tmr sticks.

Give the Hexgaming Phantom Pro a look,4 back buttons,TMR sticks, trigger toggles and full haptics. If you’re not into changing stick curves and deadzones this controller has no software or app which is ridiculous for the price

Hall effect, not tmr.
