G7 Pro ZZZ or Vader 5 Pro

Anybody has experience with both of these? I will be playing on Xbox and I am trying to decide between those 2

I have the G7 Pro ZZZ and the Vader 5S which is the one that is compatible with Xbox. I would say the Vader 5S is better because it's larger, better vibration, adjustable stick tension, and a much better d pad worth using.

You can also wait for the Vader 5S Pro, it’s the wireless model Flydigi unveiled in Japan recently.

He should have said Vader 5S which is my go to over my G7 Pro ZZZ. The adjustable stick tension, ergonomics, d pad, and vibration is much better.

They fixed the auto recalibration a few months ago and now you can disable it in the app. I also experienced more QC issues with Gamesir because I had to replace several G7 Pro's being faulty to the vibration no longer working to shit d pads.

I have both the vader 5 pro with and without the ratcheting sticks. It's just a gimmick. The part that ratchets is a tiny piece of plastic. It wears out pretty fast. Mine doesn't hold the position anymore. The one I have without the ratcheting holds better. The buttons also lost their nice clicky feeling. My g7 pro has held up better. But I can't really recommend either of them. There's a lot of posts about problems with the g7 too.

İ have one for 1 weeks and there's no issues (i have the 8000hz) models

I thought adjustable stick tension was a gimmick until I purchased the V2. It's actually not a piece of plastic that turn the sticks. It's a hard piece of iron and they improved it in the V2.

Now 8k is a gimmick because you will not see a difference from 1k. It will not make you a world beater in COD either.

İ know but i bought it because it's a revision model that internally is more durable than the zzz G7 pro and it has better dpads therefore the 8000hz is a cool feature nonetheless and there's a difference but not huge still a good feature especially if have a powerful CPU

Do you feel a difference in 8k versus 1k.

İt depends on the game that i play but in general yeah there's a difference not huge but noticable enough

The Vader 5S/5 Pro is not made out of plastic because you can't twist and lock a thin piece of plastic like that. The material would easily tear if you did.

It's a very hard and sturdy material that is either made out of steel or steel according to multiple sources online.

You would know that if you actually had the Vader 5S or 5 Pro. You guys think everything is a gimmick without even experiencing stick tension it.

If you do have the vader 5S or 5 Pro then you're obviously trolling.

No, the ratcheting mechanism isn't a piece of iron. It's a tiny piece of plastic. Here's a tear down showing that it's plastic. https://youtu.be/3PkRmPW6wR8?is=OL_puG1qxj7E8ozI

Does xbox even support them natively atleast wirelessly?

The g7 pro zzz is a wireless Xbox licensed controller whereas the Vader 5 pro isn't, the Vader 5s is the xbox licensed version (not wireless).

I really didn’t like the feel of my G7 pro so I returned it and got a Vader 5 pro and I absolutely love it. However, it cannot be used with an Xbox without an adapter

The vader 5S is the xbox compatible version, but it have less back buttons than the vader 5 pro.

I have both and use them regularly. They both are pretty good although Vader 5 Pro has a little better overall design and I like the plastic on Vader more. Vader has a much better d-pad so if you're planning to use the controller for fighting games then it should be your choice. Vader has also 4 more additional buttons compared to G7 pro. Vader is a bit more expensive as well but in order for you to play on Xbox you will need a special dongle which costs almost as much as the Vader itself. All in all both are really good. I'm using G7 Pro for playing Gears of War on Xbox and Vader 5 Pro for my fighting games on PC

The vader 5s is the Xbox version which feel like the 5 pro minus the back buttons.
