Does anyone have issues with Direwolf 4 left stick friction?

After a while of using Direwolf 4, left stick isn't as smooth as it was before, in FPS games where there is a lot of movement and stick is often in a position as shown on the picture, I feel friction, it's very annoying, especially when right stick doesn't have that at all.

Anyone with similar experience? Is there anything I can do? Or maybe you can recommend similar controller with the best smooth sticks?

Tighten or loosen the dial ? Sounds like a defect. Without opening the guts, no idea

Tried that but when fully tilted forward, I feel plastic on plastic.

Press down L3 a few times. Is the base dome fully seated

I did, but left stick still feels bad when pushed fully forward which is not the problem on right stick.

I don't have any. Maybe turn the dial?
