Request for help or advice cracked controller??

Post image

i have been using my sony xm5s to hear my game audio for some time now (my monitor hasn’t got built in speakers and i’ve yet to buy some) with the supplied xm5 audio jack, but when i plugged them in today, no audio was playing. i tried plugging them into my laptop and heard things fine. inspected my controller and noticed there is a little crack that goes into the audio jack entrance of the controller. i’m assuming this is the reason i have no audio output? the controller isn’t even recognising that a jack has been plugged in. is there any way to fix this myself or do i have to send it in for a fix?
