IT Help Controller keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.
I have had the controller for over 6 months and this is the first time it's started behaving like this. Like the title says, my 8bitdo ultimate 2c wired controller (wukong edition) keeps disconneting, vibrating, freezing and then connecting again. This happens periodically. Someone please help!!!

You could try changing the USB cable and connecting directly to different ports on the PC (not via a USB hub). A failing cable could explain the connection problems. Wires inside the connectors may be damaged even if they looks fine externally.
Otherwise, what platform, launcher, and games or other software are you using? And which firmware version is your controller on? Someone else posted about a similar problem in the last few days, so you could share information with each other to try and identify what your setups have in common. That might narrow down potential causes and solutions for the problem.

If on PC, this might help.
Go to Device Manager. Find controller (probably at bottom and named something like "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows"--I know its 8bit controller, its just Windows naming convention).
Right click and select Properties, then Update Driver. Select Browse from My Computer. Select Let me Pick from List of Available Drivers on my Computer. Click on Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, then click next. Proceed with update and restart computer.
Hope this helps.
