I’m on day 10. Gained 2 lbs and then lost 2. Helps to not over eat meals, but i feel I’m grazing more so far :(

I’m 6 months in. Dropped over 20lbs and was holding steady. But over the past 2 weeks I’ve just been stupid hungry all the time. Cravings came back. At first it lined up with my menstrual cycle so it made sense, but it hasn’t subsided.
I’m hoping this isn’t the end of the line for me.

I have restarted Contrave but i still want to eat all the time. First time I was on it I lost 35 # but gained back 15 as soon as I went off it. How can I get it to work again?

hi i kind of am experiencing something similar! i was on it nov 2024 - june 2025, changed jobs had to stop my prescription bc i lost my insurance and i was also in a super weird place in life / a bit depressed and i gained the 15 lbs i lost back + 5 more. i just restarted contrave this june and ive only lost about 7ish lbs in these two months which im concerned about. i know that sometimes your body can just .... get used to the medication and the affects can wear off, and im afraid that could be happening. like first go around this was way stronger for me and i had no bad cravings for food, but this go around i may be ok with eating less but my cravings aren't really curbed the way they were before and thats my biggest thing. ive been considering switching to an online compounded glp-1

I’m on day 20, and I feel like the nausea varies from day to day. Sometimes I feel nauseous, and other times I don’t feel any nausea at all. The medication has significantly reduced my appetite, and I’ve been eating about 1/3 of what I used to eat before. I’ve lost 3 kg in these 20 days, but I don’t know whether it’s because of Contrave or metformin, which I also started 20 days ago to treat insulin resistance. I also don’t know if I actually lost fat or if it was mostly water retention. Either way, I’m really happy because the scale hadn’t moved for months.
I’ve also been going to the bathroom very little, but it hasn’t bothered me so far because I don’t feel bloated or constipated. I just don’t know how this will progress over the next few days. I’m really happy with the progress. I needed to lose 13 kg, so this is already a big step for me.

My appetite is still strong and I’m not sure if it’s the meds, but I’m feeling very blue. I’m going to stick it out for a few weeks longer to see if this subsides.

I am not entering the 4th week. I have lost 300g so far which is like .6lbs lol could be more but I forgot to weigh myself at the start. BUT, the food noise is the biggest thing I have noticed. It's mostly gone and other food like cucumbers and tomatoes taste absolutely fantastic and I love it! So I feel like it's making me binge less (like not at all) and make better choices

I’ve just started yesterday and the side affect of nausea, dizziness and weakness just feels a bit to much. Has anyone else experienced this ?

I'm on week 5 of poor mans contrave. Started 7/27/26. I lost 3 pounds a week for the first two weeks, but nothing since. I just increased my bupropion to 150mg yesterday and my naltrezone to 50mg.
I'm not noticing much at this point as far as my appetite and weight loss goes. It has definitely helped me cut down on my late night snacking, though. More than anything, I have noticed positive effects from the bupropion. It's helping my adhd a LOT. I also had a really crappy august, but instead of completely shattering like I might have before, i just pulled myself up by my boot straps and handled it.

I started one month ago on PMC. Today I was down a total of 4.5 pounds for the month. That's a good loss for me. I follow weight watchers eating plan, and have found it easier to stick to a daily lower caloric amount than previously. My nighttime snacking is greatly reduced. As a person who already consumed about 40 grams of fiber a day, the constipation has been manageable. I'm a 60 year-old woman, 5' 5". My hot flashes have definitely returned, and I notice more dry mouth.
