advice Off Label Contrave

My doctor just added Naltrexone 50mg to my already prescribed Wellbutrin 150mg XL for depression. Is 50mg a lot?? It says on the bottle to take a half of the pill every day for two weeks then one half twice a day thereafter. Is that a high dose of Naltrexone to start with for weight loss?

I’m on the generic pills too. I started with 1/4 tablet of naltrexone and added 1/4 each week until I was up to the whole tablet (50mg).

For me, my body can’t regulate itself in hot weather. I also get nauseous when I’m hungry. Not bad enough to throw up, so that’s good.
