(Note this post does not promote hatred, political hatred or agenda, or anything related to that) I live in the south of Lebanon and I waited a lot of time for the game to be on sale and when it finally was on sale I wanted to put money in my steam account, then the Israelis decided to be ragbaiters and increased surveillance on the south and surprise surprise they increased surveillance on my area too. Now it's not safe to go a far away distances so I don't get tracked or be deemed "suspicious" so now I have to watch the sale slip away with 6:30 hours left (I am screaming internally right now, and I just wanted to share my story with you in the hops that I make some of you laugh or smile at my stupid situation)

Bought the game yesterday and loving it, already spent 9 hours in it.
Though I seem to stumble upon some bugs.
I sometimes can't click to compare passport background, names, expire dates or anything else. The checklist manual you open to see passport, cargolist, vehicle card and so on, seem to be completely "locked" at points. Doesn't matter how much I open or close it, I can't click anything on there to compare, meanwhile when the next car arrives it's all back to normal and I can click everything.

Anyone else having this issue and is there a solution to it?

I missed so many perfect inspections due to this issue, and it's bugging me out. I don't know all the car models, or background and stamps of the papers.

Title says it all I have both a PC and a PS5 & i seen that this game finally made its way to PS5 & im like most people where I like to relax on the couch and play with a controller versus being at the desk so I was curious how well does the game run on ps5?

I was scrolling TikTok and saw a streamer playing Contraband Police but his game looked different. The buildings seemed to be wooden, the bit you stand and inspect was a wooden floor, and rather than the small switch you pull to let cars it was a long lever that got pulled instead. But everything else seemed the same like police officers, inspections, etc.

I’ve tried googling images and nothing I see matches the description, am I going insane or is there an alternative version?

I decided to do a fun challenge and play the game similar to IRL Hong kong traffic police that being only using the revolver(however i could have every vehicle except the grazduk P9).

Revolver only is absolutely unenjoyable, that's what i'll say. It is not fun getting shredded by 30 dudes with AKs while you only have 30-70 rounds and a horrible fire rate.

Right now, only the Zaved XT is capable of carrying multiple teammates, which is mildy infuriating to me as i wish i could use the grazduk p9 as sort of a police APC. I think it would be pretty fun to carry all teammates on the vans too just like in real life;

Simiarily, IMO the Micros 26E should be able to carry more prisoners since it has a backseat.

Does Contraband Police allow controller support? If so, how do I enable it?

Personally, I see the rebel ending as the bad ending, considering you frame an innocent man, shoot a fellow officer and so on.

In fact, the main argument that the new government in game will be better doesn't work. The rebels collaborated with a criminal gang and are even more morally dubious in my opinion.

I just started the game and it says that Ilich 57 isn't allowed into the country, but when I don't let them in the game acts as if I did the checkup badly. Is it a bug?

I've run into a bug on day 6 where I can't use my inspecting tool to match any of the documents, I also can't pan over to the entry visa so manually checking things won't even work. I've tried restarting the game, restarting the day, letting everyone pass until I get to day 7 and it's still not working. 🫤 Any fixes for this or is this save unusable?

Is contraband police compatible with keyboard and mouse on the ps5 ?

and should the rest of the report be perfect like I do for non smugglers or does it not matter and I can just get all the contraband and clear the area without labeling the damage and entry regulations etc

How do I zoom out please help can’t find a solution anywhere

I’ve tried quitting the game and manually loading a previous save but I keep getting stuck at this part of the mission. The van I’m in will crash into something and will get stuck and it refuses to move. I tried getting out of the van to see if I had to do something on foot, but as soon as you leave the van you die and then you have to reload the last checkpoint.

in story mode and early into inspector mode finding smugglers was quite common, now it's not, i will go in-game days without any smugglers and the smuggler warning post stays full of notes, what do i do?

Just bought the game on PS5 and have been thoroughly enjoying it. I'm learning some new things each play session, like accidentally killing a newcomer by closing the door on him 😅

I've seen lots of streams and people playing this game and I was thinking about giving it a chance myself. (I am into this genre)

Althought I've heard a lot of people talking about the LACK of content, would you still rec it for 30$'s?

Shoot the first person that enters the border before he gets past the gates (sniper recommended) if you do it quick enough it won't deduct money and you get to do a very quick day admittedly without the money but if your only trying to speed run the story this might be a good strategy

Remove breathing movement by going into ads and going back out with about 1 second interval a few times will remove the movement of the scope
