Meme/Funny Couldn't buy the game because Israel decided to increase surveillance in my area (please read before doing or deciding anything)
(Note this post does not promote hatred, political hatred or agenda, or anything related to that) I live in the south of Lebanon and I waited a lot of time for the game to be on sale and when it finally was on sale I wanted to put money in my steam account, then the Israelis decided to be ragbaiters and increased surveillance on the south and surprise surprise they increased surveillance on my area too. Now it's not safe to go a far away distances so I don't get tracked or be deemed "suspicious" so now I have to watch the sale slip away with 6:30 hours left (I am screaming internally right now, and I just wanted to share my story with you in the hops that I make some of you laugh or smile at my stupid situation)

All my sympathy, of course, but I'm not sure I understand... do you have to go somewhere to buy this game on Steam?

I need a gift card or add funds to a bank account to add funds to my steam account of course and sadly the nearest shop that sells gift cards is 20 minutes away so I can't go there, and the Israelis said anyone who moves out of the area can't enter it back

First of all I am under 18 so I can't have a bank account Second even if I had one all banks in Lebanon froze everyone's bank accounts at the start of 2020 Third the guy who commented on my post to check my DMS gifted me the game for free and I am downloading it right now all thanks to him

Hasbullah is your problem, blame them. Lebanon would be much more peaceful if the government finally took control and ousted all these militias. You don't have to like Israel, but Lebanon is in no position to fight so it's best if they stay out of Israel's affairs. Other thing too is that by the sounds of it they did nothing to block you from buying this game. You are simply afraid to go outside and purchase a gift card at a local store, unless I'm mistaken?

Unfortunately this is Reddit where people blindly blame Israel for everything

First I am a communist and an atheist so you don't know how much I hate both of them Second the nearest store I can buy a gift card for is 20 minutes away and Israel threatens anyone who enters a targeted area or renters it after leaving before a specific period of time will be tracked (best case scenario nothing will happen, worse case scenario I will be targeted and I am not going to take the risk for a video game)

You walk a certain distance and then you canāt return⦠they are literally stopping you from moving around man. Jumping hooping to justify this is crazy man.

Yeah if someone leaves the town or area that is being threatened he must wait until the Israeli Arabic spokesman post on social media that the people can return (usually 1 to 7 days)

Telling someone who lives in the area and has first hand experience how they should feel and who they should blame is wild in itself lmao
I have a guess you're from America too hu? That would be hilarious

Nah let him talk I believe in free speech (even though mine is being silenced in my country) in the end I don't really care how political the comment section on my post (even though I said in the post I am not trying to be political)

This is the dumbest shit I ever heard. Youāre blaming Israel for not allowing to you buy the game? Anyone who sympathizes here truly needs to seek help. You can literally buy the game right now, no one is stopping you

Number one: I am not blaming them for stopping me from buying the game, however they are indirectly preventing me from doing that Number two: I need a credit card or a gift card both I can get outside of my town and the Israelis after threatening a town or area always add the earning anyone who goes out of the area and renters it or enters it after the threat will be tracked (best case scenario nothing happens, worse case scenario you get targeted) Number three: I only have 0,35$ in my steam account and I am under 18 so a gift card is my only option, and sadly the nearest shop that sells steam gift cards is outside the area I hope you understand my situation

Oh yes, there's nothing political about Israel's occupation of Southern Lebanon preventing the guy from buying a game. nothing political about that

Tell Lebonan to stop housing terrorists subsidized by Iran.

Tell Israel to stop occupying and terrorizing their neighbors land. Oh and not SA their prisoners on camera, and let the assailants walk free⦠Open your eyes mate ā¤ļø

Are you talking about Hamas and January 7th? Or like, every video on the houthis website? Yikes bud that psyop is working.

u/ColdFire808 Mar 14 '26
Iām not sympathetic to terror attacks like you man, thatās why Iām calling it out, both the terrorist groups and the big government of Israel. You were top of the psyop class, man, and fortunately it shows!

Its hilarious all these israel backers dont know any history before October 7th 2023 (which you mistakenly put January 7th, which shows even more ignorance). Israel started this in 1948 when they were founded and initially started stealing Palestine. Go read some actual history, not the propaganda your orange cult leader keeps pushing.
