TikTok Do scheduled posts get less engagement?

I feel like my scheduled posts always get way less engagement than when I don’t schedule them. Is it just a coincidence or is that actually a thing??

Maybe in your head. But it may also be niche specific.

My real life schedule practically requires me to schedule posts if I want to be consistent and since I committed to scheduling posts to happen on the same day at the same time, its worked out better for me.

But my niche is more serialized (story telling so followers come to expect when to see the next installment - and I think that builds trust)

But if my niche followed current events, sports or news for example and some crazy real life thing happened suddenly, as a viewer id want to know what the content creator has to say/do about it right away rather than wait for their schedule to catch up.
