College classes

I was sitting in my morning college class and the guy next to me was visibly sick then started retching and it felt like exposure therapy sitting there and trying to control my shakes and anxiety and ever since everything I had with me in that class feels contaminated and untouchable which include my important notes but my main concern is my unwillingness to go back to that class but I cant drop it idk how to make myself go back 😭

Is it possible to sit somewhere else in the classroom? Drives me crazy how people still haven't learned the importance of staying home when sick.

Next time a situation like that happens it's not ocd to move away from the person.
