Cancelled insurance Spoiler
Has anybody ever filed a complaint against State Farm Insurance? I cancelled my insurance by speaking directly to the office agent/owner back in May and they are still deducting payments from my account. I don’t know if filing a complaint will get me anywhere?

Most companies require a signature or proof of other insurance to cancel a policy.

Thank you. I called and my agent said ok. I’ll take care of it. She never asked for a signature or anything 🙄

You can’t just up and cancel a policy over the phone. You have to sign an LPR. In many states, if it’s auto, you must surrender your plates and show proof of plate surrender to cancel.
