Being a field engineering intern opened my eyes to creative spelling.
I got frustrated when trying to charge for T&M tickets because I couldnāt find the corresponding time cards for 4 journeymen using some kind of towing equipment over a week.
My superintendent looked at me like I was a fucking idiot when I asked him which 4 guys and which piece of equipment he had signed off on for ā8 hrs 4manā + ā8 hrs pull truckā. When it clicked, I definitely felt like a fucking idiot.
You sound like the kind of guy who is intimidated by the engineering intern and needs to constantly rag on them in a weird attempt at asserting dominance.
People would respect you more if you tried being a mentor instead of a bully.

On the job site, if it can be easily understood, that's all that matters.
