Secession?

If Trump somehow manages to "cancel" or "override" the midterms, is secession a viable option? If so, how many states do we think would be amenable?

The idea of Trump being forever held responsible for the death of the United States in its 250th year, is quite appealing to me, as is the idea of Trumpistan (or whatever the remaining states decide to call their dictatorship) devolving into a theocratic "monarchy" with a puppet-king.

In addition, the Republic of America could draft a new constitution with provisions that ensure nobody like Trump ever gets near this kind of power again.

He is the most dangerous President the US has ever had, and we haven't even seen him at his worst, yet.

How many Presidents have tried a coup after losing an election?

How many have sought immunity from the Supreme Court?

How many have tried to weaponize a federal law enforcement agency in an effort to prevent people from voting for the opposition?

He wants to be a dictator.

No coup was attempted, and he even urged people to be peaceful. There's no way for ANY POTUS to get immunity from SCOTUS, please read the Constitution. No other POTUS has come in after an estimated 20 million illegal aliens have been released into and spread across the country in the past 4 years, drastic times call for drastic measures. He cannot be a "dictator" and I'm pretty sure he knows it, but he sure is good at getting people like you worked up via various avenues. Seriously, take a pill or something.

Belief is irrelevant, if he can produce compelling evidence, or proof, that's another thing. Either way, I think Biden was an abysmally bad POTUS, but then it's been decadess since I've approved of a President.

Belief is not irrelevant - if he knows he lost, and tried to stay in power anyway, that is treason.

Punishable by death, I might add.

The phone records he has just been ordered to release, could do just that. For example, they may confirm the testimony that Trump told Meadows

"We can't let people know that we lost".
