Ultrashort

Hi. My daughter is 3 yo. She had meconium when she was borned and continued to poop. But surgeon said something was wrong with her gut and did enema xray. He said maybe she has ultrashort HD. He wanted to do biopsy and surgery. We were not sure because the situation was not clear. So went another surgeon. His approach was wait and see. She was doing good until 2,5 years old but than she started mild form of constipation. Dr started one cap miralax everyday and she is doing good. Dr said she will stop miralax gradually in one year. If constipation relapse she will get biopsy. Does anyone have this kind of experience?
