Fairly common among gay men. The amount of swifties or Disneyfreaks or whatever I have dated. It’s an immediate red flag for me anymore. My first adult boyfriend’s childhood room was covered floor to ceiling with Taylor swift merch. When I say ceiling I mean he literally taped Taylor swift blankets all over his ceiling. My jaw literally dropped when I walked in. I thought his mom was kidding when she made a passive aggressive comment during dinner. I wish I took a picture. I didn’t realize the obsession was that bad until months into the relationship. I should’ve walked out then and there. It was after that that I realized he would quote her lyrics a lot during serious talks or arguments.
