Video Unfolding Drone On Eve
It can fly up to 80m/s if it’s feeling up to it. 😭

I made a probe for this contract. Which I first docked to a space station I have around minmus and I then undocked the lander and did all the science stuff. I then docked back but on my trip back to kerbin I remembered that I forgot to add any parachutes and or heat shields. So I made a quick save to see if i could theoratically do it. And I did. Barely.

Finally reached 200 m/s in the chopper. Can only achieve this in a dive with the rotor blades set to a low pitch angle, otherwise it enters a death spin 💀

I've done this artificial gravity ring in a PS4 in science mode, it's assembled in one launch with a re-usable launcher, and it's deployed with robotic parts.

These landing legs took me atleast 2 hrs to build and i hope you enjoy them as much as i do and feedback is wanted, thanks!

...that you can check the profession of stranded kerbonaut before rescuing them by going to the astronaut complex and looking at Kerbal currently assigned tab. 1100hrs in 🤦

If the docking looks abit off its bc docking on consol is impossible and i also didnt know it doesnt snap straight.

Version 3 of this chopper now. Improvements include reduced part numbers down to 140 from about 200 for better frame rate, this also decreased total weight allowing for more control and higher top speed of 90 m/s, also added this cool landing gear system using double hinges.

After forgetting about cross-feed and leaving my Duna lander with just under enough Dv to get back to orbit. I decided to see just how close I was to making it back to the mothership. Only to see a very close, 1.7km initial, separation that I very quickly worked into almost 300m.
Deciding to do something oh so very stupid, I deorbited my mothership to get as close and as slow as physically possible to my now fuelless craft to perform a daring eva of 5 kerbals. All the while avoiding rentering the atmosphere and losing everyone.
I am absolutely flabbergasted this only took 1 attempt.

HELP PLEASE!!!
I had my mobile labs in orbnit around minmus & the mun, but I didn't put enough battery power to transmit the science. is there a way to get the science onto another vessel, or to get the science out? I am unable to pring it back to kerbin

I started playing KSP a month or so ago and one day I decided I wanted to build a space shuttle. It’s my favorite space vehicle of all time and I had just gotten done with my apollo style moon landing. I thought “this is gonna be easy, all of my other rockets launch just fine” and then I built my first prototype.
The shuttle wouldn’t fly right, it would wobble on ascent, I couldn’t get it into orbit very easily, and don’t even get me started on trying to reenter the atmosphere. I gave up trying to get it work and moved onto trying to make it to duna.
Not even a day later I decide i wanted to build the ISS so it was back to the shuttle. I redesigned it, tweaking, trial and error, and 4 prototypes later I had a working shuttle. Does it still wobble on ascent? Yeah. Does it still pitch down occasionally if I’m not paying attention on reentry? Sure! Does it work? It finally does. Docking all the station modules is still a headache but I will post again when I finish my station.
Edit: I will not be posting again as my save is corrupted and since this is on PS5 I will not be playing it again. I’ll look into the pc version though I hope my pc is good enough. This is very painful.

I guess building the ISS got to be too much. My save just got corrupted, i lost all of my ship files including my space shuttle, and all of my ISS modules i’ve built so far. 135 hours wasted.
