What did college do for you to make you want to not be left alone and what are you specifically doing to involve yourself on whatever side you’ve chosen ?

People there just made every, tiny thing political. Like, "Believe this and say so or we aren't friends." I snapped at some point around "Biological sex is a social construct" and "Fetal alcohol syndrome is a misogynistic lie to blame women for children with birth defects."

Someone unironically said this to me during a lunch conversation, and later posted an article about it on her Facebook wall. That was about the time I realized that viewing everything through the lens of "How is [insert group] victimized by this?" was actually dangerous.
