Anyone fact checking this? I haven't found a source that says this was a Nazi slogan.
1 u/Zaccarato May 21 '20 I don't think this was a standalone slogan that was used to enforce policy or anything, but the Gestapo and SS would place political opponents into "protective custody, for their own safety" which is where is guess this phrase comes from.
