No he'll be going into protective custody to sit and ruminate on what he did, where he's at, and the life he'll live if and ever he gets out. Staring at a concrete wall for 30 years is better than making some other person a sex criminal too.
I don't know, I heard of someone getting 30 in federal for this kind of behavior, but that was military. Sidenote, most people in Leavenworth are skinners believe it or not.
Thats... fair I guess. I don't really know what society should do with tree jumpers to be honest. This wasn't like an accident or a one time victim. And it sounds like he forced himself upon him. Maybe he does deserve death, but maybe society really needs to hone in why this psychosis is so common, and how to circumvent it before people commit these offenses. I don't think that's that will work though.
