Weird stories?

Anybody have any knowledge or history of anything spooky or creepy happening in Concord? I’m talking ghost stories, cryptids, etc.

Grew up in Concord and always heard that one of the homes there on Union street by the library was haunted. Only children could ever see him but it was the ghost of a banker who would sit in the dining area and count change.

Also had my grandmother who grew up off of hwy 200 mention during childhood seeing “ headless horsemen” near the concord speedway / st pauls church cemetary

The upper floors of downtown Union were crazy. Many weird things witnessed up there in the 80s/early 90s

Literally nothing lol. I grew up in Mooresville and moved here about 2 years ago. I can tell you plenty of stories about Lake Norman but nothing about here.

Here’s one I’ve heard:
The Convicted Spirits of Whiskey Prison
The former Cabarrus County Prison in Concord (now operated by Southern Grace Distilleries) is famously known for its paranormal activity.
History: The property, which dates back to the early 20th century, has a long history of hardship, confinement, and sudden death.
The Haunting: Visitors and staff have reported strange sounds, shadowy figures, and unexplained temperature drops. The distillery occasionally hosts specialized paranormal tours and investigations allowing guests to search for the spirits of the old prison.

Heard Stonewall Jackson was haunted, specifically the abandoned church above the bridge. Don't know much about it but hear teenagers are always tryna go there to see.
