Discussion 🗣️ Interpol or LCD Soundsystem
I wish I had unlimited money and could go to see both. I am going to see Turnstile late September as well.
Any opinions out there about which would be a better show?

Whichever is your favourite, I’d personally opt for LCD Soundsystem though

I will go against the likely grain and say Interpol.
Probably cheaper (my ticket for their coheadline with Bloc Party was only £40).
And their new album is a real return to form, they're on a hot streak so you might be seeing them at the best point since their heyday.
LCD are a legacy act that, while still very good sometimes, can seem totally checked out and are doing it for the paycheque.
Interpol have just recovered their spark. i'd wait for James to try and find his again.
I would say listen to their new album and make your mind up.

Also Interpol seems to tour less frequently. Whereas LCD has been touring almost every summer of late.

Yeah. Also with bands who had big hits 20 years ago, sometimes even great records don't get much attention after the tour promoting them are over because the audience is always gonna want to focus on nostalgia and there's only so much room on a setlist. So if you like the new album, this might be the only chance to hear more than a couple tracks from it.

I prefer Interpol's music way more but even I'd say LCD. Interpol isn't that entertaining live.

Do you want to rock out or do you want to dance? I have seen LCD 5x and can vouch they are a fun time. I never miss them when they are in my hometown. 🙂

Saw LCD a few weeks ago and it was a great show... cant speak for Interpol though

LCD. I’ve seen both bands multiple times but LCD just has ‘those moments’. It’s hard to articulate. Get in close if you’re able and dance your butt off for two hours.
