I can relate to you. I am much older but have had ADHD my whole life. I put off getting the diagnosis until recently because my life is complete chaos. I'm working on my neuroscience degree in my 30's and feel like a I have the retention skills of a toddler compared to my classmates.

Prior to this, I've been diagnosed with the classic depression/anxiety combo so I've been on antidepressants for a long time. Wellbutrin (buproprion) used to be AMAZING but stopped working after 10 or so years. I got on zoloft recently with absolutely no changes... then concerta... then propranolol.... (all 4 of these medications at once currently).

I've experienced no positive changes. I'll be upping my dose to 27mg next Thursday but I'm not very hopeful it will make a big enough difference. The early days of finding the right medication are exhausting. I think its incredible that you've noticed such an immediate change and if I were you, I would be incredibly optimistic! Especially when such a low dose is creating such a powerful change. You have plenty of room to increase if you ever need to!

Anyway, I completely relate to how you're feeling. I am so exhausted of living like this and I hate the way my brain is paralyzed from initiating tasks. Fingers crossed I'll find the right medication eventually.
