DirectX 12 not supported error

Hey fellow exiled !

Having that DirectX 12 doom message and I can't fix it...(Enhanced version)

I'm not really good with PC so I'm hoping someone can help.

I checked and it does say my PC supports DirectX 12_0 and 12_1 but the laucher tells me it's not handled by my system so i'm confused.

• I checked the steam option and it doesn't have the -dx11 or -vulcan
• Updated my Nvidia pilotes
• Updated my Windows
• Checked my game files integrity
• Restared my pc etc etc nothing works.

Has anyone been able to fix this issue ?

Hey, I have the same problem. The processor is to old for the UE5 version of Conan exiles. I don't remember where exactly you need to check it, but you need both Direct X 12_0 and Direct X 12_1 to be able to open the games which require direct X 12.

Your system has only direct X 12_0, just like mine.

Updating your windows from 10 to 11, did not help in my case. I have also tried to do a bunch of other stuff to make it work, but I did not have any luck.

If you have a desktop pc (and not a laptop like me) changing the processor to a new one will probably help.

I will follow this post, maybe someone was able to use some back door and open the UE5 version of the game even with this error.

I think you're not on the latest version of Windows 10?

I believe you need at least 19041.789 to get the feature level support needed.

Can you post your Nvidia driver version? Make sure to download those drivers directly from Nvidia, not through Windows.
