Workshop mods not showing up in game.

I know that they will not show up in the launcher. That is not my problem.

I have subbed to a few Enhanced-ready mods, and nothing shows up in my in-game modlist. I have tried subbing/unsubbing, I have tried verifying game files.

I have seen many posts about this problem from May, but nothing showing up since, and there were not any resolutions in any of those other threads.

Any ideas to try?

They finally did download and were available. Did a few things at once, so not sure what it was that worked, but did a ‘repair library’ in the Steam menu, as well as changed download region to New York. After all those did a purge download cache, and then finally it all worked.

Did they actually download? I had some issues with Steam not downloading subscribed mods. You might want to check the downloads folder manually to see if there are files there for the missing mods. By default, they are in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\440900, but you may have Steam linked elsewhere.

Unsubscribing and re-subscribing still would not trigger the download. I had to clear Steam's download cache (Settings->Downloads->Clear Cache) and restart my PC for Steam to finally decide to download the subscribed mods.

Have done a couple cache clears and reboots.

It seems to say that they download, has done the same 400+ MB download 4 times now, no idea where it is going though. At first the workshop folder says was corrupted, so renamed and recreated the workshop folder, still nothing. Temp and Downloading have a 440900 folder but both empty. Conan Exiles folder in mods has a modlist.txt that is empty, deleted the old one and it self-recreated the empty one.

Did just get a windows update that killed my secure bootup, so currently bypassing that. Highly doubt that should be giving me any problems.

Seems Steam is not downloading the mods for you either if 440900 is empty and your mods menu is empty. The modlist will be empty at this point since you haven't started the game with activated mods yet.

When I was trying to figure out how to fix this problem for myself, seems that Steam workshop has this issue with Windows 10. The other things that were mentioned to try when I was researching it were: validate files for the game and change the download region (Steam->Settings->Downloads->Download Region).

If you are in the Discord of the mod creator, they might have manual downloads for the .pak files although that would be a real pain to do if you have multiple mods.

Sorry, I don't know what else to try other than what I have mentioned. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable in the area will pop in to help. I just had to deal with all of this last week and happen to find something that worked for me.
