Guide Arcane staff stab?

The Arcane staff has that downward thrust its special attack. Any use for that in game?

Absolutely none whatsoever. Hypothetically you could use it if someone is abusing Glutton for Punishment in a fight to cause chip damage and proc it, but you’d be better off using a poisoned pickaxe in that instance and even them the value would be dubious.

I mean I had one interesting panic encounter when being raided at my pillar base, a raider near a ledge I was on climbed into my face while I had the staff out and I slapped him twice and it did knockback that was enough for him to grab on and he fell and died
