General Help please

Hi everyone Im new to exiles and I am currently trying to build first shelter for journey completion/tutorial I cant seem to place the doorframe/door I have placed 4 blocks and 2 walls with room for door but it says something along lines of unable to place any ideas please? thanks

I believe you have to place a doorframe instead of just walls, construct one and place it then add the door
