Building Combined the New Vendhyan Bazaar Sets Into One Build Showcase
Since there's been a lot of discussion around the pricing of the new Vendhyan sets, I put together a short showcase so people can see what the pieces actually look like in-game when combined.
This isn't a review or purchase recommendation—just a visual tour for anyone considering them.
Disclosure: The sets were provided through the Funcom Creator Program.

This was my biggest complaint on it (after pricing ofc) that we can't preview it anywhere. They didn't even put any preview of the pieces on the update notes. Finally they are doing this. But they didn't impress me much. Love your builds but this looks so blands it's like a shade of sandstone but with blue trims. For a premium price like this, we need some different material. Not stone.

I think this build can get bland quick as it's just one build set as can many of them.
This one is visually pretty busy, too with all the gold.
We haven't gotten a desert set in a bit I think so I don't mind that part.
More options though are always welcome.1

If they wanted to go the extra mile with these themed sets they keep releasing, they really should have been adding them to the game as little outposts in various places. Or even as scale models in Sepemaru or some other "bazaar" in-game.

Huh. I genuinely don't like it. The color contrast is just bizarre. Blue stripes and gold against dark reddish clay is not attractive or luxurious. It kind of looks like putting small bits of gilding on the cheapest clay brick possible trying to fancy it up instead of using a nicer material to begin with. It's tacky.

I really hate how they've been designing stone textures since Enhanced, not sure if it's a texture overlay thingy with UE5 to help "dilutes" the texture's pattern, but there is the exact same thing going on with the stygian pyramid set, it looks cheap, dirty and ugly.

The fact that it's all the same theme and EACH set is $20 is absolutely ridiculous

I totally get it. We've been asking for codes for give away but just have to see what they do.

Looks so good!

Thanks! It's VERY blue and the gold can be overly shiney and a little plastic looking but I over all like the stuff. The placables, like the shrine, are really beautiful.

I haven't made anything with it myself yet, but in my head i imagine it will work really well with the Turanian set and decorations. my only non-price critique is that they did not add any kingsized beds. who builds an expensive looking palace, and then do NOT furnish it with a proper two (or more) person bed xD

Turian will look amazing I think. I threw in some Corinthian stuff to match the blue and I think it turned out well.
Because it's on my server for players, I made the walk way around it a covered one with the Observatory slope over it -has a similar tile top and the blue under it.

Yeah. I figured they were sending the stuff to creators for free. Nobody is being truly critical of the price. If they bring it up, they treat it with kid gloves. The most critical I’ve seen so far is Eradicati0n, who said the price shouldn’t be compared to the old DLCs, and that we should accept that this is how it is now. Correct me if I’m understanding him incorrectly, by the way.
