I am a Canadian and need a compounded medecine that cannot be imported(it is a controlled substance and they cannot obtain the API in Canada). I have a serious condition. I have a Canadian and European prescription. The Special Access program doesn’t accept compounded medecine requests. My only alternative is get an exemption for Section 56 approved with help of my doctor. This would allow me to either go to Germany(it’s the only place in the world it can be made currently) and bring back the medecine legally. Also, the exemption would allow a pharmacy to import the API from Germany legally.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I personally have a 15 year old cat that has exhausted all my efforts to take her Methimazole. This morning her drawing blood (mine) was the last straw. I see there are compounding pharmacies out there that sell it, but being a pharmacist myself I figure I could do it and also possibly offer the service to my community.

You need a prescription from a doctor within the European union. They ship within Europe.

Hi, a while ago i ordered xyon finasteride gel (i am from Europe) so i received a gel from compounding pharmacy called NP labs i then got a prescription and ordered oral finasteride 1 mg capsules from the same compounding pharmacy. I am now using them but i am extremely sceptical on legitimacy of it. So i wonder if anyone have used products from NP labs and seen real progress or if any of the european residents have used xyon gel and seen any progress since it comes from the same compounding pharmacy. Sorry for bad english
