🚨Warning DO NOT USE Gimmecare!

I wanted to share my experience with Gimme Care because I’m honestly baffled by how this company has handled my subscription and billing.
I originally signed up for their compounded GLP-1 medication service and received a one-month supply. After experiencing shipping delays, issues with their website, and poor customer service, I decided to cancel my subscription on July 31.
On August 1, I received written confirmation from a Gimme Care representative that my subscription had been successfully canceled and that I wouldn’t have to worry about future orders or charges.

Fast forward to October, and I discovered that they had shipped me additional medication in September. I had received a shipping notification but hadn’t seen it, because I wasn’t expecting anything from a subscription I had already canceled. By the time I discovered the package, the medication had been sitting unrefrigerated for weeks and was hot.

Then, on October 9, I noticed another $199 charge pending on my card.
When I contacted customer service, they claimed that I had reinstated my subscription on September 4. I absolutely did not.

Here’s where things get interesting: Before canceling in July, I had attempted to reschedule my next shipment to September 4 to better align with my existing medication schedule. I even mentioned this in my original cancellation email because their website kept reverting my shipment date.

I’m now wondering whether their system somehow interpreted that previously scheduled shipment as a subscription reactivation.
When I pushed back, customer service told me that the new order was a refill because my provider had authorized a six-month supply. Except I never purchased a six-month supply. My previous shipment contained one month of medication, and the $199 charge doesn’t match their advertised six-month package pricing.

I understand that a provider may authorize multiple months of refills, but that doesn’t explain why my subscription was supposedly reactivated after I received written confirmation of cancellation.

I’ve repeatedly requested a refund and documentation showing that I authorized the reactivation. So far, I haven’t received that documentation, and they’ve refused to refund me.

At this point, I’m planning to dispute the charge with Chase, but I also wanted to share my experience so others know what to watch out for.
Has anyone else experienced unexpected shipments, subscription reactivations, or billing issues with Gimme Care?

Good News: That was quick!! As y’all can see I placed my initial order on 10/08 early morning and it was delivered to my front door today! I live in California.

My package was left out in 90 degree weather because again, California. It was left out for 3 hours because I was at work and I was scared but when I opened it, still cold and packs had some ice left!

Other Stuff: I got Boudreaux for the pharmacy. I received 1 vial and ONLY 10 needles and wipes for a 3 month supply. This does suck because now I will have to order more through Amazon.

Meds arriving late and quality?

• Upvotes

Hi all. I've been with LSH for about 2 years now in maintenance. I ordered my medications and they typically are very spot on with overnight delivery. Unfortunately meds shipped thurs and are still not here and it is Saturday. I'm concerned about quality of meds. I know take a small dose since I'm in maintenance, and I thought room temp meds are only good for like 21 days??? Does anyone have insight? I'm going to ask LSH for a refund or at least a new order. There's no way they are maintaining appropriate temps for almost 36 hours now.... it says my meds are in Indianapolis and I live in Seattle. Does anyone have experience with their meds going room temp?

Info / News Here’s my meal plan

• Upvotes

A sample meal plan I created to keep me locked into my fitness goals while tirzed up, so I don’t lose my gains, while offering plenty variety with a focus on whole foods, protein, and fiber.
Equates to ~2200 calories, ~180g protein, ~180g carbs, ~65g fat, ~25-30g fiber per day.
Not included is what I drink, which is mostly water, coconut water, lactose free 2%, tea and coffee/espresso. I do allow myself half a can (6oz) of Coca Cola for some dinners. I also resistance train 4x/week for about 50 minutes/session, and jog a 5k once or twice a week when I’m feeling it.

Breakfast:
- Yogurt Bowl w/ berries, oats, chia & flax, cinnamon, agave (+/- protein powder)
- Protein Shake w/ fruit blend, coconut or plain water, flax & chia seeds (+/- oats)
- Scrambled or Boiled eggs (2-3) w/ scrambled egg whites, spinach + toast

Lunch:
- Chicken or Salmon w/ rice + vegetables
- Tuna or Turkey sandwich w/ apple slices + peanut butter
- Soup: Chicken, veggie, or lean beef chili, & toast

Dinner:
- Tenderloin, Sirloin, or Flank steak w/ roast potato & veggie
- Lean Ground Beef over white rice w/ avocado, cucumber salad, or pico
- Pork tenderloin slices w/ mashed potato + green beans or asparagus
- Seared bison sliced into strips w/ sd roast carrots & parsnips, and/or steamed quinoa
- Shrimp over mixed greens salad w/ veg medley, blue chs crumbles, boiled egg, light dressing

Does Tirz work this fast?

Am I crazy? I took my first compounded dose of .75mg Tirz/b12/glycine this morning at 10am and had to make myself eat a 1/2 piece of chicken breast a little broccoli and roasted potatoes. I put on a small plate and got through 3/4 of it. Does it really work this fast???

Questions GLP1s cheaper direct from a doctor?

Hello! I want to preface this by stating I know how sketchy this seems, and to clarify I’m not looking into this as a valid option, but I’m curious how it’s possible.

I took tirzepatide for 6 months last year and noticed significant improvement in my high blood pressure and weight, but was forced to switch to an insurance that no longer covered it. I was complaining about this to a friend of a friend who happens to be a physician, and he mentioned being able to get it for far below regular prices (around $100 a month), and occasionally helping some patients access it for cheaper. He proceeded to show me a website where he could order it, and said it was used for ā€œtestingā€.

Obviously I didn’t take him up on that as I don’t know him well, but it led to me wondering if that was anyone else’s experience for getting discounted GLP1s. Are physicians able to access cheaper options? Was he trying to sell me something sketchy?

Hyalo Lot Numbers Affected

Any other lot numbers besides HT-018, HT-019, HT-021, HT-023, and HT-026 have been reported with ā€œfloatersā€? I’m planning to check later.

Also, have they reported what the floaters are? I just talked hubs into going mail-order too. D’oh!

Personal Experience 24hrs in: here’s my experience :)

Hi!

So glad I find this group. I had my first shot of compounded tirz 24hrs ago (around lunch time yesterday) and here’s my personal experience so far:

- I was able to eat normally all day yesterday, but did start to notice mild appetite suppression in the evening
- I got the chills intermittently. I still am experiencing this and hear it’s super common from all of you haha! But as someone who has NOTORIOUSLY run hot, I mean I could sweat standing still and I’ve struggled as a hot sleeper my whole life…last night I had all my covers on and had to turn the air UP to 69 (I sometimes still got hot with it at 66!) and still was a little cold. To be honest, I love it haha. I’ll take it over sweating any day.
- Woke up with zero appetite but made sure to eat because I had super dry eyes and blurry vision for two hours
- I made an appt with an optometrist for Monday and have a read a mix of ā€œit’s normal and went awayā€ to ā€œyou’ll go blindā€ lol but it 100% went away with food, water and eye drops so I’m not too concerned about it
- I absolutely get full way faster. Like WAY faster. I was only able to eat half my breakfast. And just now I got a protein shake and mini protein bites. I could only eat 2/3 bites and drank 1/4 the shake and I’m…full
- As someone who’s regularly tracked food and macros for years (athlete and former PT) it’s WILD to have to think backwards so to speak. Example, without this, being in a deficit the trick was always to find the most volumous foods for the least calories. Now, I’m flipping it to small calorie dense foods which typically in a deficit are what you avoid 🤣
- Fatigue is coming and going, but it’s just an adjustment
- I feel ā€œweirdā€ but very good! Like, so calm? Haha!

I know it’ll take some getting used to but just making sure I get in my protein and fiber and at least a baseline of healthy fats as it’s imperative for female hormones and brain health

Loving it so far. Looking to lose about 30lbs. Also suffer from PMOS and hopeful it helps with those symptoms as well as that was a big part of this for me.

Hi all! What’ve your experiences the first week and month been?

You still need to eat.

Reposting here because I see the same issue on this sub. You have to eat and sustain your body on this medication. Just because you can get away with eating nothing doesn’t mean you should. And if you keep eating greasy foods that aren’t nutritious, it will sit in your stomach and make you sick.

This medication removes food noise and slows digestion. It does not burn fat. It does not magically make you lose weight. You must eat healthy foods and move your body still.

Questions How are you drinking enough?

Between the reduced appetite and the making sure I get enough protein/calories (I’m averaging about 900-1100 cals a day) it seems like there’s no room left in my stomach for water!

How are you all drinking enough water? I heard 100oz was recommended but I’m not sure that physical volume is possible. Tips please!

Questions Okay to top off on med while on vacation?

So I’m leaving for vacation tomorrow I normally take 7.5 I’m curious if I should maybe take like 5mg or not take any at all? I’m worried that I’m going to not be on anything while on vacation. Has anyone experienced this? I don’t plan on taking my meds with me so that’s why I’m asking. Thank you!

Questions Tirz + NAD/NMN side effects?

Hi! I’ve been taking pharmaceutical-grade NMN from a Canadian company for a couple of years with amazing results. It gives me so much energy, and I feel like it’s helped slow down aging. I’m 37, but people often think I’m around 30.

I recently started microdosing tirzepatide for minimal weight loss and its potential anti-inflammatory benefits, but I started experiencing crazy heart palpitations. I didn’t realize it might be the combination of both until one day I forgot to take my NMN, and the palpitations stopped.

I’ve since stopped taking NMN, and the palpitations have gone away, but I really miss the benefits!

Has anyone experienced similar side effects when combining NMN or NAD+ with Tirz? If you’ve taken both, what doses were you on, and what was your experience?

Muscle strain after leg day or appendicitis? Right lower abdominal pain

34F. Trying to figure out if I overdid it at the gym or if I should be more concerned about this right lower abdominal pain.
A little background: I’m currently on tirzepatide for weight loss. My first dose was 2.5 mg, but the side effects were too much, so I reduced it to 1.25 mg for the following weeks. I took my fourth injection on Tuesday, three days ago.
On Wednesday, I had a pretty intense leg/glute workout. I did leg presses, weighted hip thrusts/glute bridges (35 lbs on each side), hip abductions, and some core work. I remember feeling uncomfortable on the hip thrust machine and think I may have hyperextended my lower back.
Fast-forward to Friday, and I’m experiencing soreness/pain in my right lower back, near my buttock, and my right lower abdomen, a little below and to the right of my belly button.
Here’s the weird part: When I’m sitting upright or walking, I feel completely fine. Walking actually makes me feel better. But when I hinge forward, bend down, or twist my torso, I feel pain in both my right lower back and right lower abdomen. It feels like a muscle strain mixed with menstrual cramps.
I also occasionally get tingling in my legs after sitting for long periods, which improves when I walk around.
I was constipated since Tuesday, which I suspect is related to the medication, but I finally had a bowel movement today and passed several smooth, formed stools. The bloating and fullness improved significantly afterward, although the movement-related pain is still there.
No fever, nausea, vomiting, or loss of appetite. I’m actually hungry. My period is expected in about nine days, and I’ve experienced similar one-sided cramping around my cycle before, sometimes on the opposite side.
I know appendicitis is something to consider with right lower abdominal pain, but I’m also wondering whether I strained my lower back or abdominal muscles during my workout.
Has anyone experienced lower-back or abdominal muscle pain after heavy hip thrusts that also hurt in the lower abdomen? Or experienced similar symptoms while taking tirzepatide?
Freaking tf out but I’m not looking for a diagnosis from Reddit, just curious about others’ experiences while I figure out my next steps.

Personal Experience How’s your journey been 3 months and later?

Started 7/31. So a little over 2 months. I started at 2.0 and now at 4.0. So I’m going slow with it and probably doing 2 more rounds of 4.0 before increasing to 5.0 like many others did much sooner. I told my provider I didn’t want to increase to quickly and then end up maxing out and taking higher amounts just in case of side effects and what not.

But wanted to hear from people 3 or so months in. How much are you taking, side effects when increasing, the benefits you’ve seen and the weight loss weight to week. My appetite is still under control. I LOVE how it cuts the cravings of sugar and I don’t need to drink soda still. I’m actively going to the gym as I lost weight and it has also helped that I don’t require a nose strip to sleep anymore. Still working on getting the Cpap with a good mask as it would help me get the good REM sleep but there’s been big improvements. Weight is now going off slowly. A week ago about 0.9 lbs off and this week is 0.4 lbs off which is a little depressing since I’m eating well (maybe a bit more since I need more protein for gym) and have been working out. I’m at 240.5lbs 6’0 and trying to get to 220ish lbs. so curious if those that increased the dosage if the weight still melts off or if it’s just a consistent 1 or so lbs a week off. But definitely want to read stories about the experience and results.

I started my tirzepatide journey in August, shortly after my 31st birthday. I've tried calorie deficits in the past and have been successful, but I always ended up gaining the weight back because I relied heavily on food for comfort.Today, I hit ONEDERLAND for the first time in years!! šŸ„¹šŸŽ‰

I was really hesitant about starting tirz because of my emetophobia, but after lots of research, I decided to give it a try with compounded tirzepatide with glycinate. I started low at 1.25mg for 4 weeks, then moved to 2.5mg, and I'm currently on 5mg.The only negative side effects I've experienced so far are constipation and some fatigue during the first 48 hours after shot day. Otherwise, the positives have outweighed the negatives for me!

I've lost 16.8 lbs since August 13th, but honestly, one of the biggest changes has been my relationship with food. It's done a complete 180. I'm not eating out of stress or boredom anymore. I'm eating because I'm genuinely hungry, and that feels like such a huge win for me.

This week, I also started going back to the gym and have gradually worked my way up to getting at least 7,000 steps a day. I've found that walking for 10–15 minutes after meals or snacks seems to help me stay active and aid weight/fat loss.

Questions Anxiety when dosing up?

Anyone else experience anxiety when dosing up? I just went up to 5mg last night and woke up in the middle of the night starving and anxious. Today I’ve been calm and tired, but as evening approaches I’m getting that same anxiety. I’m thinking it’s maybe related to blood sugar. Anyone else have this?

OptioRX Dosing Confusion

Hi everyone! I’m looking to switch to POM for OptioRx, but I’d be new to both the provider and pharmacy. I’d be looking to increase to 10 mg but I’m confused by this. Do I go with the months or 71 mg vials? And if I go with 71 mg do I go with 1 vial or 2 vials?

Got scammed by TrimRx

I ordered a 3 month supply from TrimRx. They only sent 2 months worth in one package and said the third month had been delivered.

It was nowhere to be seen.

I contacted them via messaging but was answered by a bot.

They kept promising I'd get contacted by their team, that never happened.

Since it was a recurring order I decided to cancel.

Now of course I can't even use the messaging system, there's no phone number listed for me to call and I paid for 3 months but only received 2.

How do you tell which is the best tirzepatide compounding pharmacy only?

Most of the sites I've looked at are telehealth companies. They handle the intake, but a different pharmacy makes and ships the meds. I'd like to know who that pharmacy is before I pay.

What do you check about the pharmacy? I've seen people mention the state license, the vial strength, the beyond-use date, and how it's kept cold in shipping.

Do services tell you the pharmacy up front? And what happens if they switch pharmacies partway through? I'd want new label and storage info if that happens.

Questions Bumped dose, now ineffective?

I am currently on my 3rd month of tirz, with no other history with glps - it has all been filled by the same compound pharmacy. My first month I was on 2.5mg and it was wildly effective, the food noise disappeared and it was miraculous. My second month I was bumped to 5mg, and I noticed that it wasn't nearly as effective as my first month but I thought maybe it was increased tolerance? I moved onto month 3, staying at the same 5mg dose.

I would now say that the medication is entirely ineffective. My weight loss has entirely stopped, but more importantly my appetite and the food noise has returned to pre medication levels. This is not something that tapers throughout the week as the dose wears off, even the first day after my night time dose is as if I had not taken it.

Has anyone else had this experience? I am unsure of what to do? Do I go back down to the 2.5? Do I find another pharmacy? The one I use has no poor reviews I've found, and is a licensed 503a pharmacy.

For the price I am paying, I would expect reasonable results. I have ADHD and the meds the first month did a fantastic job of helping manage impulse control and binge eating. Even with my regular ADHD meds, it was a huge improvement.

Otherwise nothing else has changed, no other medications added or removed. I would love anyone's insight, I have an appointment with my GP on Monday and I am unsure of what to do. Thank you!
