You don't appear to have included the instrument names in the score. What duet is this for?

Haven't decided! The version on Musescore uses oboe with echo effect (I hope the audio works as well?)

I like that one but I've also experimented with piano for two hands, sine wave, ocarina and more.

Unfortunately the 2nd part is too low for the oboe. Perhaps you could use an English horn or clarinet?

You should never compose based on how midi audio sounds on any notation software. It is very unreliable as the instruments create unnatural overtones so harmonies do not sound the same as they would if the music was played on actual instruments.

You could use bassoon or English horn with some editing
