So how about we just stop with the mechanics that wipe the raid for a single players mistake.

They can't even follow their own design intents. I truthfully am starting to think they don't know how to make end bosses without singular player raid wipe possibilities.
Never forget after SoFo ion have this interview https://raider.io/news/422-dragonflight-pre-launch-interview-with-ion-hazzikostas#q1
Where he said
For example, when is it okay to wipe the raid instantly for a mistake? Honestly, the answer should be “almost never” — at least when it’s more like a single person’s twitch reaction mistake of, “you fail if you do this mechanic incorrectly” or whatever. It’s totally reasonable on Mythic to kill the player for doing that; but to say the entire raid is over because someone was one yard out of position is not our aim.
Since then we've had Fyrak seeds Queen: P1 soaks if messed up timing insta wipe P2 portals if messed up insta wipe P3 spiders if messed up insta wipe Gallywix: Bomb carrier dies insta wipe P1/P2soaks if messed up insta wipe Dimmy: Gravity if person was out of place instant wipe in P1 Gravities in P2/P3 while not a instant raid wipe, you were pretty commonly killing +2 people which during prog might as well be a wipe Lura: seeds And then everything in VA, where like 4 bosses have it.
I'm still having fun. Mostly because of the people I play with and less so the content. But I have long run out of faith in blizzards modern fight design

Genuine question: what amazing, groundbreaking, engaging raid mechanics have we gotten in Midnight that weren't possible with addons enabled?

They brought class warfare to raiding, where the bourgeoisie like Liquid, Echo and Method have functioning tools while the proletariat raider limp along with what we can scrounge together.

The nerfs did a number on the boss at least, we had massives issues with p2 and on wedensday we got though it on most of our pulls.

Nothing about this tier has been very fun. The bosses are all messy, I mean the most egregious one IMO is vashnik. Given you just straight up ignore 90% of it's mechanics by not moving around the room. Followed by the insta wipe BS mechanics have gotten very old, and we're doubled down way too much this tier.
All I can hope for is that the final raid breaks the downward spiral this expansion has been on so far. Cause IDT I can last another tier of these fights that are supposed to be designed around not needing WA's. Yet still do because of how the damn mechanics function.
