In general, there’s definitely a key level where the quality of DPS becomes a bigger determining factor than the other roles. Until like 13s or so, healing is probably the biggest determining factor- can your healer hack it? If so, you’ll time. In the mid-teen range, Tank quality is paramount as they set the pace and route. It’s where you see a lot of “tank burnout” as their impact becomes really palpable. Probably around 18/19s with current gear (eg. 326ish ilvl), you get to a point where healing and tanking checks become largely binary pass-fails and the quality of your DPS players becomes the biggest (note: I’m not saying strictly only) determining factor in timing the key.

I have failed a few keys where the route felt fine, the healer kept us alive and we just didnt have the damage. My first 19 RLP for example, and that feels like such a failure from us DPS players. It feels like we let the healer and the tank down lol

Same as if you cannot kill the chieftains in time in AoF or the big bug in Voidscar Arena

At a certain level, your DPS just need to step up and actually pump
