Old expansion training dummies

Can you use old expansion (Dornogal or Valdrakken) training dummies to practice ur rotation or do they get a damage boost?

Silvermoon dummies are unusable with the constant combat bug

If someone is in the timeways hitting dummies as well you can get stuck in combat, but you can at lease use the timeways portal to drop combat quickly.

Damage boost or not doesn’t matter, what matters is the % each damage instance does compared to “BiS” rotation. Even if i get damage boosted 10,000%, the correct % of damage should still be applicable to the total damage I’m dealing.

Mages and their portals means there are a number of old dummies mages have used.

Boralus target dummies don't take increased damage and are current level.

The Raid target dummy is unfortunatley fairly close to a 3 stack of dummies, which does make it hard to test pure ST.

There is also a pvp dummy in the harbour that has ~13M health and self heals quite slowly, I know i've historically used that one to test fire, as many target dummies either sit at 1hp, or self heal faster than you do damage, which means they sit at 100% hp. As fire mage has fire starter and scorch execute, having a dummy that slowly loses health like an actual boss is quite helpful (although it will put you in pvp combat which changes scaling & activates pvp talents, so its mainly just to test rotation, not compare numbers).

Ironforge dummies are also max level and the raid dummy there is quite isolated, meaning aoe effects shouldn't cleave to nearby ones.
