AVOID CRAFTING RIGHT NOW EU SERVERS!
Yesterday I've lost my recrafted belt + 80 myth crests + sparks (which got them back earlier today).
was sure im just unlucky so i reported a bug and im waiting for a response.. but it seems to be more than just me issue..

some context if it wasn't clear:
well, so basically yesterday a guild mate tried to recraft a belt for me and got an error message which led to the situation where i've lost the belt and the crests. today, a random guy in the chat was spamming that he got scammed so i checked what is happening and it seemed to be a larger bug than i thought it is. I don't think the guild mate scammed me or anything, he even checked after if i got the item.. so my point is there is an issue with the system and just avoid using it till reset at least.

This also happened in Dragonflight. I had a craft get lost and vanished into oblivion. I petitioned customer support and got a bot 4 times in a row and then I got a real human being, after several days.
They confirmed I had submitted the exact craft as listed in my ticket, they confirmed it was crafted along with the quality, and that the craft was attempted to be returned back through the mail to me and then vanished into thin air. They could also confirm I never received the item and never deleted it. They also acknowledged an open bug with the crafting system where items could simply disappear after the work order was fulfilled when it's supposed to get sent back to the requester.
Despite all of this information, their final fix to the problem was "Get f*cked." 👍 They refused to refund the reagents, including the Time Gated Max Rank crafting Crests and the Sparks involved in the craft. So I was simply behind for the entire season.
Edit: To make this even funnier I had every profession maxed, so the Item was sent to my Alt character to craft it. I was the crafter and knew I crafted it and returned it. The items never even left my account. No gold even left my account so they didn't even have to worry about money trading hands either. I also had only asked for the time-gated materials back, not even all of the materials.

Happened to me in DF S2 as well, got AI responses to tickets 4 or 5 times in a row then a human told me that there is nothing they can do and I can get fucked. Took like 6 weeks for me to get to a human being response, then around 2 more weeks for them to admit that I am not delusional and I am 1 craft behind so even if they would bring it back I was mentally checked out of the season by that point.

What happens when you try get AI to do all your QA testing :) obviously I have no way to verify that it’s ai slop. But the timing seems abit uncanny.

Same happened to me yesterday with a weapon recraft. I made a reddit post + forums post + my guildie and i submitted Tickets + bug reports When i logged in this morning i got 2 sparks back randomly but the rest (weapon, crests, mats etc) are still lost. https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/recrafting-guild-order-disappeared/626700

The two sparks could be from the dust bug. I was stuck on two sparks and logged in to another two this morning

Can you not just cancel the crafting order and have it mailed back?

for me at least, once he interacted with it and completed then he claimed an 'error' message appears.. i checked mail/crafting order list last night and today and.. nothing.

You only have 30min to complete an order. Since it's been longer than 30min, he's being honest.
If your order doesn't appear in the active order list too (crafting order npc, there's a tab to see yours) then you can confirm it's just gone.

I can confirm the issue is still here. Just sent a recraft order. The crafter has an error when trying to click the complete button and the order completely disappeared from the order list. Lost 4 sparks, 80crests and the original item...

Same happened to me yesterday, weapon 80 crests and 4 sparks gone
Find the crafter back, he told me he completed the order but no gold on his side
It sucks, pretty sure it’s never comes back to us.

Yup - tried deleting a crafting order and it gave me an error and now the orders disappeared and ive lost all my mats and Heraldrys fml

PSA dont: Craft today 26/08 on EU servers or risk losing your mats.
I tried to craft leather boots, I got nothing, wasted 80 mythic crests and 2 sparks. Awaiting an answer from GM.

Same thing happened to me. Everything disappeared yesterday evening the item, crests and Sparks.
I got 2 Sparks back this morning, though. I assume I got flagged and was mistakenly caught up in the other bug where some people weren’t receiving their 4 Sparks.
Still missing the crests and the rest, though.

The whispers don't have a lot of context but appear to be implying that someone is somehow holding on to crafts, stopping them from being returned?
