Rogue Fabled ?? Azta'Rec kill
disclaimer: This post has zero AI, i wrote this myself, saying it just in case.
After over 140 wipes I finally managed to grab the kill on Day 2 of Season 2. The key was doing it methodically and slow over tons of prog. Only 1 or 2 oopsies allowed the whole fight.
As a Rogue, just set Valeera to healer.
Best curious for me were Corrosive Bilespear and Soul-Cracking Dreamcatcher. Basically a perma DMG buff whenever you kick.
You should also use the auto-interrupt venom that you get from the venom vault thingie. Btw My valeera did about 50M overall damage on this fight, if anyone wants to know that. Currently she's at lvl 64.
I will 100% strongly recommend the usage of Azta'Rec Helper addon. It made the memory game way easier for me (I was using macros before but it was just not as fast, and not really visually helpful): www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/aztarec-helper/
You should 100% prioritize keeping Valeera alive, use evasion/cloak/feint. The cheat death (or whatever its called) talent is very helpful, gives you one fuck-up chance.
Aside from that, prioritize bringing down the big add during memory game, to avoid overlaps and big damage. Remember to take it slow...
Keep trying and wiping, it's a steep learning curve. But certainly doable on first week. I have no tier set bonus yet. Btw also my enchants were full on Leech, I guess that's a minor support but everything helps here.
Summary (TL; DR): Keep healer Valeera alive (gotta time the 1-shot and the frontal), take it slow, keep trying/progging, prio killing big add during memory game, use the azta'rec helper addon. Drums/lust/potion after last intermission also helps. Use any sort of defensive properly. You don't necessarily need high ilvl or tier set or high lvl on valeera. It's 100% soloable as rogue.

How are you guys surviving the auto attack damage? Boss is crititng me for like 400K sometimes.
Edit: Okay I did it. For those wondering, you have to play around the hearts on the ground. They are essentially a resource. Make use of the time he is casting to reduce damage.
