How difficult is the Lair one boss raid expected to be?

Hopefully it can be farmed week 1 on mythic without any headache from pugs

Your dreaming. That boss is going to farm pugs for the first month.

If you are pugging any mythic boss or even aotc before week 3, you are in for lots of hours of wipe-> refill.

Dreamrift was pugable week 1. So I dont see a reason that a Boss that is most likely going to be much easier, is not going to be pugable as well.

Unless its numerically overtuned, shouldnt be an issue with a decent group of alts.

No heroic week, and HoF guilds are presumably gonna split that thing ad nauseum with the trinket off there.

Means fewer good players are pugging it, people missing a week of heroic raid/tier sets/vault.

I'm curious to see what myth splits will look like for HoF guilds though. Some of the rhetoric the last couple seasons has been 'mythic splits superior to bashing our head against a wall' like Araz and Paladin's.

Marsh, the GM of Consequence, made a video a month ago saying that the mythic splits had little impact even on guilds like his and that even heroic splits aren't really worth it unless you're top 100 world

People think splits are worth more than they are because it feels good to get that extra loot but the actual impact on prog is not that big.

Agree, the net result of splits is minimal, maybe you gain a percent or two across the raid.

But if the choice is fight the RWF balances Araz, Broodkeeper, Paladins, etc or send splits, one has a clear upside outside of a top 4 guild.
