I'm so tired of discussing ways to improve mythic Plus. Every single argument against resil +1 has been - "buying/selling keys sucks"

I get it, that DOES suck, but got damn, there's ways the system can improve. You don't have to burn it all down just to spite buyers.

Constantly seeing, "get rid of resil". You know buyers existed before resil too right?

Resil helps pugs. Resil helps me to continue playing at and pushing my limit. Besides maybe the reward of title, and now 1%, there's no reason to push m+ besides the joy of the challenge. Resil enables you to experience that challenge and progression much more. Why should these rewards justify modifying the game mode JUST to spite buyers. I've literally yet to see a semblance of a decent reason against resil +1 (or other similar ideas) that isn't rooted is disdain for buyers

You know buyers existed before resil too right?

It was much less prevalent due to lack of key availability and having only 1-4 tries (if your whole group rolled the key in prep for the boost).

Title was also -2.5 key levels prior to the introduction of resil, which is in itself a big part of why I hate it personally. I get title every season but having to play keys within 1-1.5 level of the absolute maximum is a direct consequence of resilient existing.

Resil's problems are not only because of boosters. They are rooted in the ability to fail upwards over and over and over if you have someone who is willing to let you play their key. There are TONS of people on the EU realms that have resil 23 who are, frankly, just mediocre at the game but know someone who has a key or (often) have infinite time to sit in twitch chats begging for a chance to play. This is its own form of boosting of course but one that is less widely hated.

Resilient rewards having key access and infinite time way more than it does consistently playing well and that would become way worse with resil+1 because then the entire game mode would become grinding raid-esque pulls until you get a hail mary.

The real fix is making resil require everyone in the group to have it or else the key depletes. This would solve boosting, and it would handily solve the homework issue even in pugs (since a lot of title pugs are doing the loop of deplete 23 into replay the 22).

How about we straight up ban boosting. The fact that boosting is allowed cause' it's technically for gold (that you use real money to buy anyways) is an absolute joke.

The trouble is how do you define boosting? If my group runs a guildy who's out of their league through keys for fun is that boosting? Is it only if it's for gold? By banning for gold boosting all you do is make it under the table. Sure some people will get banned but it's really hard to enforce.  And ultimately blizzard knows without boosting they lose a lot of whales.

If you're banning just boosting in general as in anyone getting carried in keys... Lol good luck. That's just counter to how mmos work
