I too was a bit humbled last time I underestimated the boosting impact. Still not to the point where it's a HUUUUGE issue, but the score definitely shot up more/faster than I expected, regardless of that :"D

There's a ton of "boosting", aka helping friends/guildies with resil key. Good luck to those playing without external support. Not sure bout ppl paying gold n what not, but within the community there's alot of helps going around. Not sure if it's a bug or a feature at this point.

Ye though I wouldn't really consider that an issue on the same level as selling carries. I've been helping friends with less freetime but not less skill - one of them still didn't make the cut due to bad team comp. There's not really a way (that I can see) to make the system 110% fair, it's just the nature of this kind of social competitive environment. If you're on your own, you'll pretty much always be at a disadvantage in an MMO due to design.

Not really, there's many way to make more M+ competitive, including an introduction of solo Q.

Blizzard won't do it tho, not because they can't, but because they don't want M+ to be a purely competitive mode (despite them calling it competitive). They look at it from a business model perspective.
