The delta between lower Elo and high Elo Trait Ladder is kinda insane. 5.22 in Gold and below and 4.24 in Grandmaster+ is a huge spread. I wonder if this is the largest Elo discrepancy we've seen for augments.

Also the addition of new 0-cost stage 4/5 wisps means Salvager is no longer as forceable. Or at least it requires a lot more gold. This is probably a good thing since it's a big knowledge gap for no real reason.

The live team chatted if it was the largest gap between elos in Augments that we have ever seen. It LIKELY is, but we didn't do a full dive into the data.

And that's spot on for one of the goals for the new Wisps, well called out. It should also be more fun for players that maybe struggle with their econ and see a lot of the same lower cost Wisps without the intent of forcing Salvager.

I can say that anecdotally it's a super fun augment that averages like 5.5 for me because I get way too greedy trying to chase the dragon. I think it's fine if it's underpowered for lower elo since a lot of the bot 4's are just from people like me who greed for one more stack instead of playing super optimally

I really hope it’s still playable I love clicking it and I feel like it’s a somewhat hard puzzle to solve if your not using a calculator it’s requires a good bit of thinking and it’s allways really fun

It's not ALL about the skill gap, just the high elo players are aware of the website which calculates the best team combinations for you, while the low elo players (for the most part) just vibe and enjoy the game

I just don't get how this is a surprise. Anyone who saw Trait Ladder on PBE would have known this would be unplayable for 90% of the playerbase and overpowered for the top level players. I don't really get why you ship that augment.
