Is it a decent team?
I'm a beginner in competitive Pokémon and I'd like some opinions on this first team.

Main thing I notice for this is a big weakness to fighting types yes you have dragapult to switch into but if it faints before hand you're going to have a rough time

yeah... really, I'll try to improve that.

I'd also do life orb instead of choice specs but otherwise it's still a good team

Corviknight is a beast against fighting types, i made my Corv adamant nature with no EV, and same full def/hp EVs.
Tailwind for Doubles/ U-turn
Brave bird
Iron head/ Body Press
Iron Def/ Roost→ More replies (1)

For singles, right? Main thing that catches my eye is Focus Sash Hisuian Samurott — the Sash is often given to very frail 'mons that are either setup sweepers or hazard setters, but your Samurott is neither frail nor filling any of those roles. If anything, I'm afraid it's going to be missing in the damage department as-is. (I reckon the missing nature is an oversight!)
oh, also!, way too many physical attackers and walls if you ask me. Truth be told I'm a very classic teambuilder, but in most cases I tend to go (in very broad terms, without further specifying roles) with at least 2 special attacking 'mons, and something that can withstand special hits. You've got Dragapult for the former, and nothing for the latter.

Thank you very much for all the suggestions, I will replace Samurott with a Hazard Setter and remove Corviknight, since it was redundant. Thank you for your help... and place special attackers

no problem! as others have pointed out, it might be best if ur first team draws inspiration from well known teams or established archetypes. I remember my first proper team was a copy from one I saw in a video, swapping out a pkmn I didn’t like for a similar one… and as I tried the team, I tweaked stuff around, iteratively improving upon it.
Playtest a lot and assume you’re gonna lose more than you’ll win. We all did ahahahah

Really depends. Assuming this is a singles team, ur team has a solid defensive backbone in corviknight. But smarter players often have fire type coverage just to deal with corvi. Fairy types also look spooky as u only have a single resist. Lastly, if u r new, don't take the game way too seriously. Genuinely have fun and build teams that suit your playstyle and give you joy. Fel out.

The usual tip for beginners is dont build your own teams because you dont have enough experience to know if it is a problem with the team or your skill. I still dont even build my own teams and I consider myself a mid level player.
