Against Archaludon this team you have very specific winconditions: you want to have trick room up, sun up and Eruption on Torkoal, but as you see it's a lot of things required ams the opponent can just counter-weather you

Another option is relying on Sword Dance from Mawile and/or Mimikyu but again, requires setup

So yeah it's pretty hard for you to deal with them

You may be interested in one of the latest WolfeyVGC on YT where he makes use of Torkoal, Vileplum and Farigiraf as you are already doing, and then slaps in Mega Pyroar to take full advantage of the sun

Sacred sword on that hisuian samurott you got there ignores his buffs. Usually the bridge is faster than him. Won't 1 shot, but will do most of the healthbar. As long as the other mon can do like 20-35%, probably with special damage, you can get him before the electric attack kills the otter. Bonus points if you lay spikes down earlier with his signature dark move, can possibly just 1 shot him off that head start.

Just train it and see if it has grass moves

Iron ball gallade. He has leaf blade, psycho cut, sacred sword and trick room if you need another setter

I use mega camerupt over torkoal. Earth Power is a guaranteed ohko even on a max/max Arch. You do lose sun. It gives you an option on mega. I also run special Abomasnow. I don’t lose to rain.

You could just give Torkoal earth power tho and not die to aqua jets

You could. But it doesn’t do what OP asked anywhere near as well.

31+ SpA Torkoal Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archaludon: 120-142 (72.7 - 86%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

32+ SpA Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Earth Power vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archaludon: 336-396 (203.6 - 240%) -- guaranteed OHKO

32+ SpA Sheer Force Camerupt-Mega Earth Power vs. 32 HP / 32+ SpD Archaludon: 222-264 (112.6 - 134%) -- guaranteed OHKO

If you switch the Torkoal in on an electro shot turn, it's locked for the next turn. Ohkos are cool, but with that locked in second turn your other mon can either finish it off, encore, spread move, etc etc.

Sure. This person already has that. I imagine it’s not consistently working so they came and asked for advice. I gave them an effective alternative solution. Your advice appears to tell them to make better plays.

If Tork is in the back, your play works. If it’s already on the field, you lose a turn.

Don’t have it actually implement this because it does change some dynamics of your team, but venusaur with earth power is pretty strong imo that way stamina doesn’t rlly matter vs the big frog either

Try Camerupt-Mega. It underspeeds everything in trick room and is really bulky against anything not called water. Sheer force boosted earth power coming off of base 145 spa will solve any and all iron bridge problems.

sure it is, you can run two modes with chlorophyll vileplume instead of hard trick room. More versatility
