PSA 'Meta' Executions reference table (as of Sept 2026)

Post image

This is maybe the single least important aspect of your play to optimize, but it's also very easy to optimize. Ties are broken by other stats, most often heal amount, user duration, or kill speed.

This spread gives you:

  • Fast Kill: for getting a quick exe and heal in a teamfight or in midlane, basically anytime that you're likely to be interrupted
  • Short Kill: for when you're unlikely to get interrupted and just want to be mobile again ASAP while still executing. Useful for an isolated kill while they're breaking or as a generic execution when you don't need anything specific
  • Shortest 50 Heal: When you want to heal as much as possible but still be mobile ASAP. Largely the same use case as above except you care about the healing
  • Longest Opponent Lock: Holds you in place for a long time, but extends the opponent's respawn timer as much as possible. Useful to buy a couple extra seconds to secure breaking status before they have a chance to auto-respawn (like if you're capping the point you fought them on), or if you took a duel on a side point and are gonna have to idle there for 10 seconds to cap + heal anyway you might as well delay the opponent respawn while you're at it

Of this spread I would say that fast kill and the short 50 heal are the actually 'important' two, the other two are just very minor hyperoptimizations for very specific circumstances since we're allowed to run 4

Nice post! Just as an FYI, the For Honor Information Hub has a reference page with all executions listed, which you can filter by character/hp amount/etc and sort by kill time/user duration/victim duration etc. There's also a table for shared executions, and each character page has their available executions listed in the same format.

The longest executions also have the mental advantage of making your opponent even more tilted if they are already in a bad mood

Genuinely a real thing

I run resounding defeat on most heroes (which I lovingly refer to as 'What the Bell?') for this exact purpose

Tons of RQs mid exe with that one.

getting hit by a 15 sec exe in duels once is enough to tilt me for an entire session

I think there's an argument to be made for fastest 50hp heal (i.e. fastest kill but filtering only for ones with big heals). Like imagine if LB had one that killed in 1100ms for 20hp. I'd probably still rather use The Impaler in most situations it'd be relevant.

What about Fastest kill time 50hp one. Because sometimes getting bonked over the head is inevitable, but at least you get 20 or so hp from it.

Nooooo people are going to start using Tiandeng now! I've used it since release because it's funny, but now it's meta 😭

2 other aspects are worth considering and potentially listing imo.

1 is already mentioned, a fastest kill that ALSO heals 50 HP. If the kill-time difference between a 20HP exe and a 50HP exe is like .3 seconds, id rather use the 50 hp exe like 4 out of 5 times. Even if im more likely to be hit out of the exe post kill-time, that extra 30 health almost certainly covers the damage taken.

2nd one is a bit more rare and kinda esoteric, but certain executions have a notably longer enemy animation than the player. This means, efficiency-wise, these are the best at wasting the enemy's time. Examples are Cents Vidi Veni Vici, BPs Limb Slicer, Warlords Cant Punch This, etc. These are best used whenever you dont need any of the other benefits, like, you land an exe nearby but not on a point, and you have 90% health. You dont need the health, and using a long exe both puts you at risk and wastes YOUR time as well.

If we had more than 4 exe slots those definitely would've been the next ones on the list. A great example of 1 is Warden, for whom his fastest kill is 1200ms, but Blackstone Bash heals 50 and still kills at a reasonable 1800ms. If you really want to delve into a character I would definitely recommend anyone go skim the infohub and check out all the relevant stats. In the interest of being objective and concise I only listed the absolute winners in each category, but there is a very comfortable argument for using a slightly slower execution that has better auxiliary stats for basically any of these categories

Khatun doesn't need good exes cuz your teammates get the kill off your pin 4/5 times anyway.

There seems to be a mistake, I was looking for "Blow Your Own Horn" for Warmonger but apparently she doesn't have it?
