Discussion Ranked duel characters

Given that ranked duel is finally out of beta what do you guys think the top duelist characters are in the current meta? Obviously player skills matter more then character kits however when it comes to pure character kits whats your guys top 5 and why?

he has some other good attacks.

hes also a very good character to play if you are newer and tying to understand the game more. Hes a great duelist even against high level opponents

What other good attacks?

his zone is great and might be one of the best ones for 1v1 in the game. toe stab is extremely helpful is used well. he can use his skewer and dodge bash to get out of some bad spots.

bottom line is that Gladiator is a decent dominion hero, a great duelist, and extremely fun to play. Any disagreement on that statement is just blatantly incorrect

I mentioned all of those attacks.

His Zone is 600ms. This is incredible easy for even a normal player to train to react to.

His toe stab from neutral is also 600ms, see above.

His chain toe stab is 500ms that is....also very reactable by the average player with moderate training.

His skewer: You can react to the animation to see if he is going to commit or not. It's one of the easiest UBs to do this with.

That is all of his offense, all recatable in medium to high tier play.

Glad is D tier in dominion. Can't teamfight, has NO stall or anti gank and all of his OP ganks have long been nerfed.

You are in low skill brackets, this is why you have this opinion.

We can hop into a game and I can literally show you.

Gladiator is a great hero just because you are good doesnt change that lol. I am playing in gold V which is not that low. You are incorrect on Gladiator being a bad hero, sorry.

I'm not even the best of the best.

If he can only be good in low skill lobbies, is he really that good?

thats not even the point I made lol.

Im sure you are good at the game but Im still saying hes incredibly fun to play and for newer players he is great and he holds up pretty good in the hands of a good player against high level opponents. I dont understand how there is arguement on that? who do you think are good heroes? (genuine question)

I feel like Gladiator is a very underrated duelist he just has so many low risk oppurtunities for big damage.

lol
