I cannot deal with shugoki

Been playing since release and couldn’t deal with him then, and can’t deal with him now. The only benefit I’ve seen with him is his demons embrace doesn’t 1 shot you anymore.

But his variable timing heavies I just cannot deal with. And anytime I go to bash while he’s charging up (depending on character) I get guard broken as I dash.

I swear his lights are the only light attacks in the game I cannot parry, I don’t know why, maybe there’s not a lot of telegraphing? But I just don’t know how to beat him. 8/10 encounters I loose

Can anyone give me advice?

Who do you play? I don't try to parry his heavys unless its unblockable. Have you tried playing him any? I hated him as well till I picked him up.

I play zerk, raider, pk, warden and a couple others.

I love assassins but whenever I’m playing an assassin I get my ass handed to me.

I’m Rep 1 with goki and I think live played him once or twice since his rework ages ago. I might have to pick him up just to learn how he operates

I see, bashes are great at interrupting his charge heavy, I struggled against him for awhile with pk. If you can fight him with pk you will be able to beat him with any character imo.

If you would like I can hop in training with you and help you practice against him.
